What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Drain Cleaner/Apprentice Plumber position at FloHawks Plumbing and Septic?
FloHawks is seeking a Plumber/Drain Cleaning Technician to join our team!
The primary function of a Drain Cleaner is to deliver excellent drain cleaning service to customers while representing the Company in a professional and courteous manner. Drain cleaning service includes using drain line video inspection devices to inspect the interior of drain lines and identify points of concern. The use of hydro jet cleaning or mechanical drain cleaning equipment to perform preventative maintenance on drain lines or clear clogged drain lines.
During execution of service, the Drain Cleaner will be responsible to comply with all DOT, state regulations and Company safety and compliance policies. In addition, the Drain Cleaner is responsible to comply with all customer and company related requirements.

Pay starting at $25/hr (plus GREAT union benefits package and pension!

Essential Functions
*
Diagnose common and diverse drain issues and emergencies including performing drain line video inspections
- General drain cleaning including the preventative maintenance or clearing of clogged lines utilizing hydro jet or mechanical drain cleaning tools
- Maintain clean working areas on every job
- Document all work performed
- Maintain a clean service vehicle inside & out with proper stock, tools, and safety equipment in company vehicle
- Provide customers with 5-star professional and courteous service
- Communicate problems, propose solutions
- Always work in a safe and compliant manner adhering to all DOT, state regulations and Company safety and compliance.
- While driving or performing service, represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
- Must use tablet technology for each service as required by management.
- Must collect, fill out and keep in good order all required paperwork each day
- Maintain a good driving record for personal and professional driving
- Maintain a current valid driver’s license
- Meet and maintain all DOT and Company physical and medical requirements
- Complete required safety training
- Available for on-call rotation as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Current driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Must be 21 years old
- DOT Medical Card (or willing to obtain)
