Plant Operator I

If so, Liquid Environmental Services is looking for a Plant Operator like you! As a Wastewater Plant Operator, your primary responsibility will be to treat wastewater, determine water quality, and release treated water to city publicly owned treatment works. FULL TIME position with some OT expected Schedule: 2am to 2pm availability required (approx 8 to 10 hours daily within that time frame. Pay: $20 to 22/hr depending on experience. $50k to 60k annually with expected OT! Scope of accountability * Responsible for mixing the wastewater chemicals and adding to them as needed

Manages the space for incoming wastewater and treatment of material

Samples and checks facility discharge for compliance with all procedures or regulations

Performs cleanup of area as required

Checks tank levels for necessary space for material processing

Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations

Wears and properly use safety equipment at all times

Always works in a safe and compliant manner

Works cooperatively as a team member with other departments Who you are * High school graduate or equivalent
