Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) Lead to manage and mentor a global team of four SDRs, each operating in different regions, including the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, with unique market requirements. This role demands a strong leader who can successfully guide the team to effectively manage prospecting and lead qualification across these geographies while also contributing directly by performing hands-on SDR tasks.
Key responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to manage and mentor a global team of SDRs, guiding them through region-specific outbound and inbound sales strategies.
- Outbound Prospecting & ABM Strategy: Expertise in developing and implementing highly targeted outbound lead generation strategies, leveraging Account-Based Marketing (ABM) to craft personalized, tailored outreach for high-value prospects.
- Inbound Lead Management: Skilled in managing inbound leads from various sources, ensuring timely qualification and follow-up to convert into sales opportunities.
- Regional Messaging: Ability to collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop region-specific messaging that resonates with target markets.
- Hands-On SDR Work: Willingness to actively participate in outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification, contributing directly to team targets.
- Performance Tracking: Strong track record of monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on SDR performance to ensure team KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Process Improvement: Experience in continuously refining lead generation, qualification, and sales handoff processes for optimal team efficiency.
- Tools & Best Practices: Expertise in the latest sales tools, to optimize outbound and inbound sales strategies. Proficient in leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT to streamline workflows and automate processes for enhanced efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in an SDR or BDR role, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or management position.
- Sales Development Expertise: Strong understanding of both outbound and inbound sales development strategies, with a focus on ABM and personalized outreach.
- Global Team Management: Experience managing a global team, adapting messaging and strategies to fit regional needs in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
- Hands-on SDR Experience: Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and driving pipeline growth, with a proven ability to convert leads into opportunities for the sales team.
- CRM & Tools Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms to track and optimize team performance.
- Data-Driven Approach: Ability to analyze SDR performance metrics and implement improvements based on data insights.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the IoT, telecommunications, or technology sectors – a big plus
- Regional Sales Understanding: Familiarity with regional sales dynamics in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC to effectively guide SDR activities.
- AI Tools Experience: Experience leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT and other automation platforms to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve prospecting and lead qualification.
