You will work closely with host home providers and agencies to guide them through the process of managing their insurance needs. Strong communication skills, especially over the phone, are essential as is approaching our client’s needs with patience and empathy. Beyond the Care Association program, you will have the opportunity to assist Account Managers in providing client services for other Human Services customers.

Strong communication skills, especially over the phone, are essential as is approaching our client’s needs with patience and empathy. Beyond the Care Association program, you will have the opportunity to assist Account Managers in providing client services for other Human Services customers.
What You’ll Do
- Care Association Program
- Customer Service: Act as the main point of contact, handling incoming calls and emails related to the Care Association Program, while supporting program operations. A significant portion of time is spent assisting customers over the phone. Many of the individuals you’ll assist may be experiencing challenges or may require extra help in navigating the process.
- Renewal Process: Oversee the renewal process for existing clients, making certain they maintain continuous coverage. Invoice policy renewals and endorsements, and process policy invoices.
- Process Care Association Applications: Review and enter insurance applications, verifying timely enrollment for new clients. Facilitate premium collection via check or online payment.
- Reconcile and Coordinate with Carrier: Reconcile carrier invoices, manage carrier relationships, and assist with monthly renewals and the annual renewal process.
- Human Services Client Servicing: Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the policy year, managing policy updates, issuing certificates, handling claims, and performing audits to ensure accuracy and ensure client needs are consistently met.
- Other Key Tasks: Upload policies, assist with invoicing, and validate accurate data management.
- Education and Work Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. While prior knowledge of insurance is helpful, it’s not a requirement. Experience, whether professional or personal, with intellectually disabled individuals, may be beneficial.
- License or Certification Requirements:
- Current or obtain Colorado Property & Casualty Insurance License within 3 months of hire date.
- Requires a current Colorado driver’s license and acceptable MVR
- Customer Service Excellence: Strong phone and email communication skills to assist customers and solve problems quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately handle data, review policies, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Project and Process Management: Good at organizing tasks, managing renewals, and working with insurance carriers to meet deadlines.

- Salary Range - Starting pay for this nonexempt position is $24 - $26/hourly. Pay may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, commensurate with experience. In addition to regular pay, this position is eligible to participate in our annual performance incentive program. Bonuses may be available for client and employee referrals and for successful completion of approved industry designations.
