Job Summary:
We are seeking a Part-Time On-Air Talent to join our dynamic radio team at B103 and Otoe County Country Stations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for radio broadcasting, a strong on-air presence, and a desire to learn and grow within the field. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and entertaining live content while having the opportunity to gain valuable experience in programming and production.
This position will provide exposure to various aspects of radio operations and programming, including assisting with content creation, scheduling, and show production, all while ensuring compliance with Nebraska state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
· On-Air Performance: Deliver live, engaging, and entertaining broadcasts, including music programming, interviews, news updates, and listener interactions.
· Content Creation: Develop and present creative and compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
· Compliance: Ensure that all programming adheres to FCC regulations and station policies, including content appropriateness, timekeeping, and licensing.
· Training and Development: Participate in programming and production training under the guidance of senior staff, gaining skills in scheduling, editing, and production.
· Audience Engagement: Interact with listeners through social media, phone-ins, and live events to build a strong relationship with the audience.
· Programming Assistance: Assist with creating and scheduling programming content, such as pre-recorded segments, promos, and commercials.
· Production Support: Learn basic production techniques and assist with show prep, editing, and sound engineering.

Qualifications:
· Experience: Prior on-air experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
· Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, a friendly on-air presence, and the ability to engage listeners.
· Technical: Basic understanding of radio equipment and software is a plus; willingness to learn programming and production tools.
· Work Schedule: Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by the station’s programming schedule.
· Compliance: Must adhere to state and federal labor laws regarding working hours, pay, and break periods. Minors (under 18) must comply with Nebraska’s youth labor laws, including restrictions on work hours and types of work.
· Eligibility: Ability to work in the United States and legally employed in the state of Nebraska.

· Ability to sit, stand, and operate radio equipment for extended periods.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, particularly during live shows.
· Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 25 pounds).
