Job Overview: As an Independent Flooring Sales Contractor, you will be responsible for generating new business, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales of our flooring products and services. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong sales background and a passion for flooring solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Business Development:
  
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and leads within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct in-home or site consultations to understand customer needs and preferences.
  Provide expert advice on flooring options, including materials, styles, and installation techniques.
  
• Client Relationship Management:
  
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing the sale and post-sale follow-up.
  Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service throughout the sales cycle.
  
• Product Knowledge and Presentation:
  
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest flooring products, trends, and technologies.
  • Present product samples, demonstrations, and quotations to clients.
  Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  
• Administrative Duties:
  
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates on progress and performance.
  • Manage scheduling and appointments effectively to maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the flooring or home improvement industry.
• Strong knowledge of flooring products, installation processes, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for results.
• Proficiency in using sales software and tools (CRM systems, Microsoft Office, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an independent contractor or in a commission-based sales role.
• Established network of contacts within the construction or home improvement industry.

Compensation:
