Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Floor & Decor. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for compiling orders, replenishing and moving merchandise, checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers, and operating a forklift. You will work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and provide above-and-beyond customer service. Essential job functions include demonstrating compliance with safety processes, working accurately in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and restocking the show floor with product.
You will also be responsible for organizing merchandise to company standards, loading out customers with the correct product, helping customers find products as needed, and answering customer questions. Additionally, you will be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed and maintain a clean and safe work area.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be 18 years or older, have knowledge of basic math skills, and have warehouse experience. Customer service experience is also required. Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment is preferred but not required. You must also be able to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
In addition, you must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 60 pounds occasionally, and/or 30-50 pounds frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds constantly. You will also be required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently.
