Floor Covering Estimator
Immediate opening available for experienced flooring professional for a long standing family owned and operated retail flooring showroom known for our superior customer service and professional staff.We believe in creating a family friendly work environment, where each person is an integral member of the team, yet responsible for his or her own results.

About the Position
This position requires an individual to be able to do accurate flooring measurements, and be able to translate those measurements into job quotes. In addition he or she will be required to manage various projects, and oversee proper installations and customer satisfaction.It is also expected that the individual be a self- starter, personally well- organized / detailed, and willing to create new business as well as to provide outstanding customer service and follow-up.
Duties
The following are some of duties and expectations for this position :
- Visiting job sites in order to measure and a estimate costs
- Answering questions and providing information to customers about flooring.
- Assemble price quotes for the customer.
- Coordinating and communicating with sub-contractors.
- Closing the sale whenever possible
- Maintaining quality control
- Managing multiple projects at the same time
- Inputting sales orders to the computer.
- Networking regularly and working effectively with other store employees.
- Following up in a timely and professional manner with customers on all requests or concerns.
- Prospecting for new business.
