What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Class A Driver position at FLOORING LIQUIDATORS?
Summary / objective
Loading, delivering, and unloading materials at the warehouse and to store locations, customer homes, etc. This is a part-time position, 16-24 hours per week. It's a local route with no overnight deliveries. This position has the potential to become full-time.

- Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading and unloading
- Communicating with other team members to make deliveries
- Performing all basic truck maintenance
- Meeting delivery deadlines
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Responsible for loading customer's flooring purchases either by forklift or by hand, as needed.
- Offload and receive product into the inventory system, then call / email customers in a timely manner of its arrival.
- Complete pick up and receiving paperwork accurately and tag products and pallets accordingly.
- Perform weekly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory.
- Store maintenance and cleaning, including maintaining an organized and clean warehouse, showroom, and property.

Physical demands : Repetitive movement of hands and fingers - typing and / or writing
Talk and hear, able to lift 70 pounds repeatedly.
Travel required : Day travel to different branch locations - home daily
