What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unarmed Security Guard position at Flora Arbor LLC?
FLORA ARBOR LLC, is an Illinois licensed cannabis craft grow located in Elgin, IL, that is looking for qualified, highly trained competent security professionals to undertake the surveillance of our premises, assist with secured transport deliveries (shipping and receiving), manage vendors and visitors and the protection of our staff and visitors. The security officer will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior as well as supporting business operations. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.
Job Responsibilities:
- Executing security services.
- Identifying and reporting security threats, unsafe conditions, or hazards, and/or other emergency situations.
- Site-specific duties and tasks based on assignment, which may include customer service, loss prevention, retail security, lobby/visitor reception, loading dock security, crowd control, and/or a variety of other safety and security roles.
- Writing detailed incident reports.
- Additional tasks as assigned
Skills
- Must be 21 years or older
- Strong customer service experience.
- Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
- Trained in First Aid
- Military or law enforcement background preferred
Job Types: Full-Time
Pay: Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
Expected hours: 40-50 hours per week

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
- Security: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current driver’s license (DL) and dependable transportation
- Must be able to obtain a Craft Grow/Cultivation Agent Identification Card
- Good credit record/report
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
- A professional appearance and demeanor
- Able to stand and or sit for extended periods of time
