About The Position
Location: Hugoton, Kansas
Job Summary
The role involves assembling, operating, and maintaining machinery for butter production, ensuring that processes meet quality, safety, and operational standards. Responsibilities include equipment setup, monitoring product quality (such as pH and temperature), cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and packaging products for shipment.
Physical Demands & Work Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee may be required to regularly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to work in heat and cold/inclement weather.
