About the Role
This role will provide you with an understanding of the overall financial P&L in a CPG company. You will learn to develop financial plans and analyze monthly, quarterly, annual results and variances to plan, that allow the leadership team to proactively manage the business results.
Main Responsibilities
As a core member of the financial planning and analysis team, you will be required to :
- Develop monthly / quarterly / annual financial forecasts and budgets for the organization.
- Provide financial analysis on business results by comparing to forecast / budgets, in order to drive insights that will improve business performance.
- Support proactive analysis of business risks and opportunities.
- Prepare flexible financial models with clean and insightful outputs.
- Develop reports that help business counterparts track performance and help explain any variances to expectations.
- Provide Ad-hoc support to team and business partners through data analysis for various financial business scenarios and core business processes.
- Support FP&A team on month end close processes including reconciliations of accruals and posting required journal entries.
- Assist with the internal and external audit processes
- Provide support on new business projects and initiatives
About you!
You possess business curiosity, strong work ethic, proactiveness, positive attitude, great communication skills, organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. You have strong analytical skills, with ability to handle large amounts of data, that can be analyzed and summarized in a way, that management can easily understand and drive business actions. You will have the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines and be able to prioritize accordingly.
