About the Role
The Sr. Manager of Indirect Procurement will lead and drive strategic procurement initiatives across a range of indirect categories, prioritizing Logistics, Marketing, Business Services, and CAPEX MRO. This high-impact role will focus on building and executing effective sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, delivering significant cost savings and cash improvements, and leading a talented team of procurement professionals. This position requires a hands-on leader with expertise in category management, complex contract negotiations, and project management who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development :
Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments, understanding their needs and aligning procurement strategies to support business goals.
Develop and execute category strategies for key indirect spend areas, including Logistics, Marketing, Business Services, and CAPEX MRO.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers, ensuring quality, service, cost, and innovation alignment.
Drive cost-saving initiatives through effective negotiation, sourcing strategies, and supplier innovation.
Lead complex contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms that mitigate risk, improve flexibility, and align with company objectives.
Oversee large-scale procurement projects from initiation through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
Develop agile sourcing strategies that respond to rapidly changing business needs.
