About You
Fresh dairy and dairy plant alternatives R&D Sr. ScientistFlora brand US is split into 4 product categories : Spread and butters, UHT creams and creamers, fresh dairy plant substitutes, and plant-based cheese.We are searching for a Senior Scientist who can lead the product design for Fresh dairy and dairy alternatives type food, based in Kansas.As this is a growing team, we will add 1 or 2 Jr scientists to that team during 2025.Our R&D team will be equipped with a state-of-the-art pilot facility in order to support with all modern tools the required R&D actions to develop from scratch from lab via pilot to industrial launch.Key objective of the role :Leading the cream R&D product portfolio for all Fresh dairy and fresh dairy alternatives related projects, with Cream cheese Dairy / Plant), Sour cream Butter, and butter blends for all channels (Retail, FS, private label, industrial)Translating consumer insights to designing together with international R&D support and local Marketing new product extension and new product platformsUpscaling product idea from lab scale over pilot to Industrial Launch scale -Proactively translating and proposing business needs to build the funnelsContinuously seeks new opportunities to improve quality and cost and translate for upscale feasibly, in teamwork with the local and international R&D business partner in Wageningen Netherlands.Build together with the compliance team all necessary internal and external regulatory requirements of Specifications LOl Nutritional'sOptimizing and building with marketing the new US product portfolio into the futureAbout You
