Compensation Range- Base salary from 150K-175K, depending on experience
About the Role!
We are seeking a Sr. Sales Planning / Strategy Manager to execute our plans for one of our key segments (Spreads and/or Violife). The candidate will need to have a deep understanding of the traditional customer landscape as well as rising channels such as natural specialty, food service and B2B. This role is charged with developing an annual planning process across all 4 P's with the field to drive significant growth on the brand across all channels through strong collaboration with our marketing and operations teams in the US. The candidate is required to partner seamlessly and effectively cross functionally and motivate multiple internal and external stakeholders.
This candidate will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders developing compelling stories for the field and customers. This individual will report to the Head of Sales Planning.
The Primary Responsibilities Include
- Lead the execution of the sales plans across the portfolio for one of Flora's key business segments (Spreads or Violife- we have 2 roles open)
- Lead the S&OP process from a sales perspective working with the cross-functional team to provide best in class forecasts
- Develop pricing strategies and ensure clarity on executional excellence of the brands with the intent to grow sales and share.
- Ensure opportunities with customers/channels are acted and maximized for share growth and profitability
- Responsible for the annual trade budget including driving promotional efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate and develop strong relationships with Sales teams, brokers, and marketing counterparts to build mutually beneficial programs and promotions in a timely manner.
- Set KPIs for the business, align profitability expectations and ensure execution across the organization
- Collaborate with our global innovation team and local marketing team to develop new items for the US market
- Participate in customer meetings including line reviews, product sell-ins and other topics.
- Collaborate extensively with supply chain partners to ensure excellent customer service and communication to the Sales teams and Brokers
- Co-management of the integrated business plan with cross functional leaders in marketing, finance and supply chain
- Directly manage one direct report
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred
- 10 years' Consumer Products experience
- Strong understanding of working in a HQ environment, field sales office, or both
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and POS Reporting systems (Nielsen / IRI).
- 2 years of People management experience
- An entrepreneurial mindset.
