We are currently seeking candidates to join our exceptional team for the following position:
Job Title: Branch Manager
Location: King St Office
Position Summary: Oversees the management and growth of a branch office while focusing on the mission and vision of the bank.
Essential Functions:
- Consistently provides superior professional service to internal and external customers.
- Consistently meets expectations of teamwork, punctuality, and regular, reliable attendance.
- Effectively performs in the area of employee management and development through conducting regular staff meetings; monitoring staffing levels; demonstrating strong communication, coaching, and training of staff; conducting performance evaluations; focusing on staff development; and ensuring employee engagement.
- Demonstrates effective knowledge and management of all bank policies and procedures.
- Opens, maintains, and services deposit accounts and ancillary services.
- Effectively originates mortgages and home equity loans.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills.
- Supports branch staff with questions, exceptions, and problem solving.
- Demonstrates commitment to personal and professional development by attending programs/seminars and participating in business development and networking opportunities.
- Actively works towards branch growth goals.
- Serves as a board member/volunteer for at least one not-for-profit organization. Commits to a minimum of 24-hours of volunteer service annually.
- Complete understanding of Business Continuity Plan and procedures.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the BSA requirements and related policies and procedures.
- Provides support to all branches.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
The following skills, experience, or background are necessary (with or without accommodation) for this position.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of retail banking experience with demonstrated leadership and management experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of current technology and ability to adapt to changing technology.

In addition to being responsible for completing an accurate Large Currency Transaction record for each cash transaction in excess of $10,000, Customer Service Representatives and Lenders are responsible for properly identifying all new bank customers in accordance with the bank’s Customer Identification Program.
All employees handling customer accounts and transactions have a duty to report apparent suspicious activity and OFAC matches to the BSA Officer and the Security Officer.
