Job Description
The Constable II serves various legal documents and eviction notices at residences and places of business.
Essential Functions:
- Provides courtroom security.
- Assists with building security.
- Maintains adequate care of equipment.
- Assists fellow constables and county agencies.
- Serves civil and legal documents to the public.
- Inputs delivery of service into the computer at the closing of the day.
- Receives order and prioritize.
- Takes bank deposits daily.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Continuing education in firearms and legal updates.
- Fill in for constable that is absent.
- Performs all other related duties as required.
Qualifications: Education and Work Experience
- Certification in constable.
- Must possess a valid S.C. driver’s license.
