Position Summary:
The recruiter at Crittenton Services has a critical role in driving the talent acquisition process within the organization. This individual is tasked with sourcing, attracting, and selecting top candidates to meet the company's staffing needs. Working closely with hiring managers, this role ensures that each step of the recruitment process is handled efficiently, from crafting job descriptions and conducting initial screenings to coordinating interviews and managing candidate communications. The Recruiter's efforts contribute significantly to the company's growth by bringing in skilled professionals who align with the organization's goals and culture.
Essential Duties:
•The HR Recruiter will be an integral part of our team, responsible for creating hiring plans, managing the recruitment process, and interviews.•Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.•Manage the pre-employment pipeline and assist candidates moving through their pre-employment process.•Tracks candidate progress in pre-employment pipeline and suggests process improvement to improve recruiting metrics (cost per hire, time to hire, retention within first year, sourcing ROI).•Work with the hiring manager to review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization.•Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless process.•Assist with and post compelling job descriptions that accurately reflect the responsibilities and qualifications of open positions.•Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.•Track and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source of hire, and candidate satisfaction.•Gather benchmark data about jobs, compensation, reward and benefits and to map out salary ranges for open positions, oversee employee Total Rewards programs and report on organizational KPls for Recruiting Retention and Turnover.•Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to hiring and employment practices.•Oversees the administration of recruiting and employment reporting: CA Pay Data, ACA, AAP, EE0-1 and VETS 100 compliance and submissions. •Other duties, as assigned.Salary Range:$27.00-$35.10 per hour Requirements:
BA/BS degree and experience in a related field. Applicant should possess excellent verbal, written, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience: 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in Social Services.
Skills:
- Proficient in full-cycle recruiting processes, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trust with candidates and stakeholders.
- Strong background in Excel, reporting, and ATS, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and follow both oral and written instructions.
Preferred: Knowledge and experience in residential and community-based social services programs.
Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid California driver's license. Bi-lingual Spanish-proven proficiency will result in an additional stipend to base pay. Ability to cross-train and assist in other Human Resources functions as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MS Office, including Excel.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Paylocity Recruiting or Clear Company experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Possesses the physical requirement needed to perform job duties. In an eight (8) hour work day this includes the following:
- Sitting 7 to 8 hours per day.
- Standing 1 to 2 hours per day.
