Summary Prepares food and beverages to be sold in school cafeteria snack bar by performing the following duties;
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience
Previous cafeteria experience a plus, strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be accuracy and detail orientated.
Working Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands; the employee is frequently required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

- Prepares food and beverages ensuring good quality and quantity
- Operates snack bar cash register
- Assist in serving and clean up
- Fill in wherever need each day
- Ensure cleanliness of unit
- Ensure food items are kept safe, using servsafe methods
- Communicate with facility assistant to ensure equipment is working properly
- Communicate with Director or Manager over unit

- Salary based on Grade B of the approved Food Services Salary schedule as established by the Governing Board.
