Summary Description
The Sales Associate assists with obtaining revenue through new client service contracts for FLORES. They are directly responsible for hitting revenue goals and bringing in new business. Our Sales Associate is the key in long-term client relationships and developing strategies that align with the Company's vision and goals. They personally demand customer service excellence and is a dynamic sales extraordinaire. You will be a strategic partner working alongside the Director of Business Development (DBD) to ensure that FLORES continues to be a leader in our industry. Key Responsibilities
Securing New Business and Closing Sales
Identify and research potential clients through various platforms. (online networking, referrals, etc.) Securing new business and closing sales in alignment with customer success and company targets. Respond to inquiries and engage with leads in a timely and professional manner. Conduct product demonstrations for prospective clients. Develop, review, and report on the sales strategy. Close new business deals by developing and negotiating contracts. Understands the pricing structures to best serve both the business and client needs. Manage NDAs for FLORES and prospective clients. Ensure all contracts and service documents comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration with Marketing
Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing tactics and plans. Participate in marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive sales growth. Provide feedback to the marketing team based on client interactions and market trends. Propose and implement innovative ideas to enhance the brand's sales and marketing position.
Networking
Attend networking events to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Initiate contact with potential clients via cold calls, emails, and networking events. Build and maintain a repository of potential clients and industry contacts. Maintain strong FLORES social media presence via X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Stay updated with the latest sales tools, techniques, and best practices. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of research and networking data or initiatives.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients. Work directly with the Director of BD & Client Services Department to ensure smooth integration of services. Assist with the coordination and promotion of FLORES client events. Understand client needs and tailor services to meet those needs. Conduct presentations and demonstrations of company services to potential clients. Work closely with other departments to ensure brand consistency. Under promise and over deliver. Provide FLORES platinum service promise with all interactions.
Sales Reporting and Analysis
Provide pipeline and revenue target reports to the Director of Business Development. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions. Use CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) to track and manage sales processes. Development of client progress reports, regular client contact providing status updates and needs, and communicating status updates across departments.
Market Analysis and Strategy
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to increase market share. Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Customer Service
Provide support to new clients, ensuring quality standards and general transactional satisfaction. Conduct evaluation of customer satisfaction via customer service surveys. Maintain working knowledge of HR and Accounting principles, financial markets, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
Project Management
Exhibit project management experience and the ability to work with status dashboards. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met. Research leveraging resources and channels of information as appropriate to gain insight into client needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain confidentiality of clients. Travel as needed.
Qualifications
Education
- A Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or related field is valued
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Experience
- 5 years of Sales and client management experience
- Strong knowledge of basic principles of Accounting, HR and Payroll
- Experience with CRM software

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment and requires regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. Some travel to client sites may be required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit for extended periods and work on a computer. Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds may be necessary.
