Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of the food service industry, including experience in managing casual restaurants with a seasonal bar program. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving profitability. We are a vegetarian restaurant in SEA Airport with an inclusive and respectful culture.
Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the business, including staffing, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance performance and promote a positive work environment.
- Implement effective shift management practices to optimize workflow and service delivery.
- Utilize Toast POS system for efficient order processing and financial reporting.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and implement strategies for improvement.
- Ensure high standards of food quality and safety are maintained at all times.
- Foster strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events and menu offerings.
Experience
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the food industry, preferably in quick service, casual, and high volume restaurants and bars.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management.
- Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
- Background in bartending is required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
