Located in Tallahassee, Florida, the Florida Association of Court Clerks & Comptrollers is a statewide, non-profit member association. The association is comprised of the Florida Clerks of the Circuit Court and Comptrollers. FACC Services Group, LLC, dba CiviTek Solutions was established in 1991 to provide financial and technical services for the Clerks of Circuit Court and Comptrollers of the State of Florida. CiviTek is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Florida Association of Court Clerks, Inc. (FCCC)

A Brief Overview

This position serves as a programmer/analyst (developer) in support of applications and business process for IT systems. The job requires developing and maintaining complex Java-based applications with SQL databases, working independently, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices and architecture.

What you will do

• Development & Implementation: Develop clean, efficient and well documented code using established frameworks and design patterns.
• • Code Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct code review to ensure quality standards and best practices are followed.
  • Code Maintenance & Support: Perform revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements to optimize application performance.
  • Testing & Debugging: Conduct unit and system testing to identify and resolve issues.
  • Deployment: Aid in deployment of applications to lower environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science or Management Information Systems or relevant work experience Required
• 5 years of computer programming experience. Required
• Experience with writing computer programs using Java 8. Experience with web development using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and REST services.
• Experience with Github, Spring Boot, Spring Security and Angular. Knowledge of Confluence, PrimeNg, Kafka, Redis and Swagger.
• Familiarity with Primefaces Framework, CDI framework and Mybatis.
• Knowledge of SQL Server T-SQL query language including troubleshooting queries, creating stored procedures, functions, and views with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher.
• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Experience with UI/UX design and implementation is a plus.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Ability to analyze and understand software specifications and code according to those specifications. Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete multiple assignments.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative environment with other team members.
• Ability to function as a conscientious employee with a strong work ethic who pays attention to work, product and process details.
