The Front Desk Staff (FDS) is a student staff member responsible for providing customer service and promoting a safe, healthy, and welcoming community at a 24-hour front desk.

Minimum Qualifications:
FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.5 GPA required.
Salary:
$14 per hour.

The Front Desk Staff (FDS) is a student staff member responsible for providing customer service and promoting a safe, healthy, and welcoming community at a 24-hour front desk.
Summary of responsibilities:
- Work at the front desk on a rotating basis as determined by supervisor, including overnight and weekend shifts.
- Engage with students, visitors, and guests to offer proactive and immediate customer service.
- Answer the phone, facilitate spare key check-ins/outs, check space reservations, and other service-oriented tasks.
- Perform relevant administrative tasks (incident reports, shift reports, work orders, etc.).
- Monitor the community and report any concerns (e.g., safety, security, and wellbeing).
- Implement the Atlantic Experience through engagement strategies at the front desk.
- Other duties as assigned.
