Position Summary :
Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Olympic Sports Equipment Manager - Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of Responsibilities :
- Oversees the overall operation of the athletics equipment room which involves the ordering, tracking, and receiving of equipment and apparel for all Olympic Sports.
- Checks equipment out to athletes at the beginning of the year and receives the equipment back from the athletes at the conclusion of the year.
- Maintains a running inventory of the items distributed to and collected from each athlete and coach.
- Maintains and reconditions all equipment for their respective sports.
- Ensures that all athletes have their necessary apparel and equipment for practices, home competitions, and away competitions.
- Collects, cleans, and redistributes laundry for each of their teams.
- Understands and follows the rules and regulations of the NCAA, Conference USA and University Policies and Procedures.
- Focus on Olympic Sports, oversees everyday aspects of the equipment room including the supervision of staff members and interns.
- Supervise the staff in the equipment room, including full-time employees, student managers, volunteers and intern.
- Ordering, sizing, issuing and overseeing all Olympic Sport needs as well as overseeing the ordering.
- Direct, plan, organize and implement the equipment room functions.
- Oversee, facilitate, and maintain the department's relationship / contract with Adidas.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :
Master's or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization required.
Salary : 50,000 per year.

Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Weekends and nights as necessary.
