Pest control entrepreneur needed! We are looking for an entrepreneurial pest control technician who wants to be more than just a baseboard jockey. Florida Bed Bug Help is a new pest control company starting in the St. Augustine/Jacksonville area. This a chance to help build and shape a new company.
We are looking for a pest technician or certified applicator. A pest technician must willing to test to be qualified as a commercial applicator (This requires 3 years of pest control experience, with the last year being in Florida.) We will provide study materials and reimburse for studying time. The applicant must hold the pest license for the company for at least one year, for which he will be paid a monthly fee, on top of his other wages. The applicant will primarily be a bed bug heat technician, for which we will provide all training.
The founder of the company, Mark Mahan, founded and helped build a 7 figure pest control company (www.rockpest.com) in Kansas City in only 4 years. He is a serial entrepreneur with over $4.5 million in sales and will be heavily involved in the startup and running of the company.

Also, we will have a profit sharing bonus at the end of each year, which will become more lucrative as the company grows.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 years of pest control experience, and have worked the last year of pest control in Florida.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a hot environment for short periods of time.
- Must be comfortable pulling a small trailer or be willing to learn how.
Responsibilities:
- Be a learner! You must be willing to learning new skills and grow in your current skills.
- Perform bed bug remediation using either heat or chemical application.
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify bed bug infestations and assess the need for heat treatment.
- Interact with customers on a daily basis using text and phone calls and provide customers with great service.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and equipment used.
- Problem solve more complex jobs and provide treatment.
- Sell and close potential bed bug jobs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $1,050.00 - $1,500.00 per week
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
