Housekeeper/ Cleaner Part-Time

Job Summary:

The Housekeeper/Cleaner is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining both private residences and commercial buildings while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning and sanitizing throughout assigned properties.
• Transport cleaning supplies using a cart.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and dining areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans as needed.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including mirrors, furniture, and décor.
• Vacuum and mop floors, clean rugs, and freshen up furniture and drapes.
• Remove used linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets and replace them with fresh ones.
• Make beds and arrange clean bedding, including pillowcases and blankets.
• Stock and replenish towels and toiletries in bathrooms.
• Pick up and empty trash containers.
• Load and operate washers and dryers and fold linens as required.
• In commercial properties, report maintenance issues when needed.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Detail-oriented and thorough in cleaning practices.
✔ Ability to maintain discretion and respect privacy of residents, tenants, and guests.
✔ Basic English proficiency to communicate and complete tasks efficiently.
✔ At least one year of housekeeping experience in a hotel or residential setting.
✔ Must speak and understand English fluently.
✔ Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, including frequent bending, pulling, and pushing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In-person
