General:
Reporting to the Shop Foreman, in a growing, fast-paced environment, performs all outside repair work on customer equipment. Conducts all work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety, environmental and contamination polices, procedures and regulations.
Essential Duties:
- Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer equipment.
- Completes required documentation utilizing appropriate software to document repairs performed on equipment and track time worked.
- Monitors job expenses and ensures that the customer is informed of any additional costs prior to the job being completed.
- Maintains necessary set of tools required to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Works in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly looking for ways of improving the methods of work, work area, and safety standards.
Education and Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Eagerness to learn new things, accept new challenges.
- Desire to grow within company and dealership.
- Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
