Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for loading and unloading items, driving delivery vehicles, and providing exceptional service throughout the moving process.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload items from trucks or vans with care to prevent damage.
- Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed.
- Navigate designated routes efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks to move heavy items safely.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address any questions or concerns during the moving process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during each move.
Experience
- Previous experience in moving or delivery driving is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with route driving and logistics is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the workday.
- Experience using equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction during moves.
