What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ministry Protection/Risk Management Administrative Assistant position at Florida Conference of The United Methodist Church?
This non-exempt, hourly role is to provide clerical and administrative support to the Ministry Protection team.
Essential Job Functions :
- Log excess insurance carrier reimbursements before releasing documentation to Financial Services (FS) for processing.
- Enter new data into Risk Console and help in maintaining the accuracy of the database.
- Log salvage, restitution, and miscellaneous payments before releasing documentation to FS for processing.
- Update Ministry Protection webpages (no web design, just updating existing pages with new information)
- Maintain / update department’s Suit Log (spreadsheet of current and completed lawsuits)
- Schedule meetings as needed
- Type and distribute quarterly newsletter (minor composition may be needed)
- Daycare Center and Additional Insured Verification & Documentation project
