- To be responsible for maintaining project safety, developing and updating the project schedule, preparing two-week look ahead schedules, updating project schedules utilizing computerized scheduling software, assisting with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors, coordinating the work of the subcontractors’ field forces, communicating effectively with owners/designers/engineers, and maintaining accurate cost reports.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
- Experience as a General/Lead Superintendent on 100 million dollar Projects.
- Demonstrated experience working in healthcare projects.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in managing the process to ensure projects are completed on time, with quality workmanship and within budget (Federal Projects and experience a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or in a related field will be considered.
- Conduct regular inspections, enforce safety protocols and address any issues that arise to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards and timelines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a good track record in project management and team collaboration
- Develop comprehensive work plans and schedules to ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to meet milestones on time and within budget.
- Monitor project budget, costs, job forecasts and productivity to optimize project efficiency.
