Position Summary:
Directs the department in the development of business opportunities in order to assess potential markets and develop products and services to meet member needs.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing Business Development staff and assisting with the promotion of Florida Credit Union products and services through outside sales. Promotional activities will follow accordingly with Florida Credit Union’s planning goals and objectives established by Senior Leadership.
- Responsible for leading the Business Development team through effective sales, service, recruiting selected employee groups (SEG’s), indirect lending contacts, and community activities approved by Senior Leadership.
- Develops and monitors targeted prospects for staff to focus on and in addition to overseeing the process for the department is expected to develop and sell to market prospects as well as to expand the list of targeted companies.
- Provide monthly monitoring reports for dealers and merchants to Senior Management Team.
- Provide training to Business Development Team and dealers/merchants as it pertains to FCU Indirect products and processes.
Qualification Requirements:
- Associate’s degree and seven years’ related experience and/or training.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
