Position Overview:
The Marketing Specialist supports Florida Credit Union’s marketing efforts through content creation, campaign coordination, and visual storytelling across multiple channels. This role is responsible for developing blog posts, email campaigns, and internal planning documents, while also supporting video production, events, and design projects. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative thinker, and team player with basic graphic design and video editing skills.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development & Campaign Coordination:
Create, edit, and proofread content for blogs, email campaigns, newsletters, and print collateral. Maintain the TWNW (This Week Next Week) internal calendar outlining all direct mail and email communications. - Email Marketing:
Develop and schedule targeted email campaigns using email marketing platforms. Ensure content aligns with FCU branding. Monitor email performance metrics and assist in campaign reporting and optimization. - Event & Community Support:
Assist the Events Specialist with pre-event materials, logistics, and on-site support for FCU events, trade shows, and community outreach efforts. - Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work with internal departments to ensure clear, consistent messaging across marketing efforts. Contribute to team brainstorming and campaign planning sessions. - Design & Brand Support:
Support the creation of email graphics, social media visuals, and branded materials to maintain consistency across marketing platforms. - Other Duties as Assigned:
Support marketing initiatives with various tasks and special projects as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- A high school diploma or GED combined with 1-3 years of related experience, or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on experience.
- A current driver’s license.
- 1–3 years of experience in a marketing, content creation, or a similar role
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and campaign analytics
- Organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects
- Basic knowledge of graphic design editing tools
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in the financial services industry
- Familiarity with creative tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
