Key Responsibilities:
- Create and Execute Municipal Field Plan: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive volunteerled field plan focused on the 2025 municipal elections. This will include setting clear goals, creating timelines, and organizing resources to maximize outreach efforts.
- Work HandinGlove with Voter Registration Team on Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with the Voter Registration team on a comprehensive volunteerled voter registration plan, ensuring the field plan and voter registration plans mirror one another.
- Volunteer Recruitment, Training, and Management: Recruit, train, and manage a dedicated team of volunteers who will carry out voter contact efforts. Ensure that volunteers are wellequipped with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to succeed in targeted areas.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Routinely assess progress toward goals and provide regular updates to senior leadership on the status of your efforts. Track key metrics, identify any barriers or challenges, and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with county party leaders, local organizations, and other community stakeholders to ensure that efforts are coordinated and aligned with broader campaign strategies. Engage with local leaders to mobilize volunteers and create a culture of civic participation.
- Data Management and Reporting: Utilize tools and systems for tracking voter outreach data, ensuring that all information is uptodate and accessible for reporting purposes. Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Staff Management: Manage the FDP’s team of organizing fellows by overseeing their performance, delegating important tasks and action items to them, and ensuring they hit their goals.
- At least 3 cycles of experience in political organizing, community engagement, or related fields. Prior experience in voter registration campaigns or organizing volunteerdriven programs is strongly preferred.
- At least 1 cycle of management experience.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams of volunteers. Ability to train, inspire, and support volunteers in executing a largescale registration effort.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while ensuring quality and compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with volunteers, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Comfortable making presentations and leading training sessions.
- Strong ability to track, analyze, and report on data. Comfort with spreadsheets and voter data management tools is a must. Proficiency with VAN Votebuilder is necessary.
- Deep commitment to voter rights, civic engagement, and ensuring that underrepresented communities are fully engaged in the political process.
- This is a fulltime position with expected evening and weekend hours as required to support campaign activities.
- Statewide travel will be required to support volunteer efforts and meetings with county leaders.
