What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communication and Media Coordinator position at Florida Dental Association?
The Florida Dental Association (FDA) is seeking a communications and media coordinator who will assist in the development and distribution of marketing and communications materials. This includes but is not limited to managing social media platforms and all associated aspects, as well as posting to the FDA blog page. Other tasks include editing, writing and assisting with publications like the bi-monthly journal and electronic newsletters.
Candidates must have strong written, verbal and communication skills, know AP Style, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. They should also have strong time management and organizational skills, along with experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook Canva and InDesign. Two years of professional work experience and a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or public relations preferred.
The starting salary range for this position is $40,000-45,000 with opportunity for growth. Please note this is not a remote position. Generous benefits package and a 35 hour work week.
