Job Description

Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) is a state agency of Florida. Its headquarters are in Tallahassee, the Sunshine States Capital City. DFS is seeking candidates to join its Office of Information Technology Team to serve as a NetApp Administrator.

They are looking for an excellent communicator, someone that can communicate across various departments - both technical and non-technical. You must be able to work independently and have strong configuration, architectural and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, upgrading, and managing ONTAP clusters
• Creating, managing, and optimizing storage volumes
• Configuring and maintaining network settings for optimal performance
• Overseeing Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems
• Managing Storage Area Networks (SAN) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Handling S3 object storage for scalable data storage solutions
• Implement and managing user authentication and access controls
• Ensuring data is regularly backed up and can be recovered in case of failure
• Continuously monitoring system performance and making necessary adjustments
• Implementing security measures to protect data from unauthorized access and breaches

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in computer information systems or related field (Related experience can, in some cases, be substituted for educational requirement)
• Experience managing NetApp storage systems
• Understanding of SAN and NAS technologies
• Proficient in the English language
