What are the responsibilities and job description for the FibroScan® Technician position at Florida Digestive Health Specialists LLP?
Description: The primary focus of the FibroScan® Technician is to schedule and complete FibroScan® appointments. Additionally, the FibroScan® Technician is responsible for correct data entry, filing, making calls, printing medical records from the electronic medical record system (EMR system) and other general related tasks.

Essential Duties:
- Answer calls, schedules appointments and performs FibroScans®.
- Schedule courier service for FibroScan® transport.
- Retrieve reports and medical records from EMR.
- Work with Patient Recruitment Team.
- Address FibroScan® inquiries.
- Assist with data reports
- Perform related duties as required.
- Local travel required.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Clinical research or medical experience preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Administrative experience preferred.
- Effective participant as a team member
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel required.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to accept constructive feedback.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Contribute to team goals
Physical Demands
The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands for fine manipulation, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms using a keyboard and video display terminal. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and climb stairs. The employee should be able lift and move up to 25 lbs. The work environment is typically quiet to moderate with standard office, lab and clinical room noise levels.
