Description: The primary focus of the Patient Liaison Recruiter (PLR) is to assist with study volunteer recruitment for all enrolling studies at the Florida Research Institute (FRI). The PLR will provide support functions for the Research Coordinators and Clinical Assistants. PLR will play a critical role in building a database of willing and qualified study volunteers.

Essential Duties:
- Responsible for recruiting subjects for all enrolling studies.
- Communicate with potential subjects and schedule appointments for screening visits.
- Request medical records of potential and current research participants.
- Identify potential volunteers by reviewing medical records.
- Utilize proper phone and email etiquette to liaison with referring physicians.
- Establish a working relationship with the Clinic Team.
Qualifications:
- Clinical research or medical experience preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time
- Additional languages encouraged
- High School, GED and/or some college
- Effective participant as a team member
- Strong follow through skills and ability to proactively identify and solve problems
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must meet recruitment scheduling goals
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Clinical Conductor (preferred)
- Familiar with CRM programs (preferred)
Physical Demands
The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands for fine manipulation, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms using a keyboard and video display terminal. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and climb stairs. The employee should be able lift and move up to 25 lbs. The work environment is typically quiet to moderate with standard office and clinical noise levels.
