Fence Installer / Co-Foreman

Job Overview:
The position of Co-Foreman will be responsible for gathering information needed by interpreting instructions, drawings, or specifications to ensure appropriate and safe placement of fencing. Individuals must have knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction and installation of fencing. Assists the Foreman with daily duties i.e. workload for crew, job paperwork, vehicle and equipment maintenance etc.

Duties:
- Measure and mark property boundaries to ensure accurate fence installation
- Dig post holes using manual or mechanical tools when required
- Set posts in concrete or other foundation materials when required
- Assemble fence panels and gates according to specifications
- Install fencing materials such as wood, vinyl, chain-link, or aluminium
- Repair or replace damaged fences or parts as needed
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fence installation or related field preferred
- Proficient in using power tools and equipment safely
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor for extended periods of time
- Skilled in assembling, and working with various fencing materials

- Ability to adapt and overcome adversity while maintaining a positive attitude and outlook.

- Ability to communicate effectively and routinely with supervisor and coworkers on job related issues.

- Ability to make critical decisions while following company policy and procedures.
- Hold valid drivers license to meet at project location
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

If you don't have fence installation experience, you must have a combination of the following:

- Experience using various power tools

- Carpentry experience

- Home remodeling

- Framing experience

- Tile installation experience

- Handyman experience

- Deck installation experience

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
