What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Account Support Analyst position at Florida East Coast Railway?
Responsibilities
- Manage various system applications to ensure timely and accurate publications of FEC rates and divisions for all rail billing.
- Ensure RMI Rate databases are updated accurately as prices are added and updated in REN or in the Share Drive.
- Audit intermodal and Carload billing processes and insure accurate rate application.
- Create and maintain all FEC rate publications.
- Publish Interline rates in REN.
- Work in tandem with Sales and Marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure proposed Intermodal and Carload directory changes can be facilitated with existing billing modules.
- Assist in management of receivables, collections and resolution of customer disputes as required.
- Investigate troubled accounts and Initiate remedial measures.
- Function as liaison with other department teams such as Billing, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales and Collections to ensure accuracy of data.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4 years of railroad or trucking revenue experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably with an emphasis Finance or Accounting
- Knowledge of TL2000 and JD Edwards E1
- Intermodal Directory, Carload Directory, Drayage Circular experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
