The Florida Elks Youth Camp & Smith Conference Center has an immediate opening for an assistant to the Event Services Manager. Full time, full benefits, year-round.

The Event Services Assistant will report directly to the Event Services Manager. The right candidate will be professional, meticulous, customer service oriented, and able to multitask efficiently. This position will act as administrative assistant to the event services manager and on-site guest services liaison during events.
Duties include:
Administrative duties such as tracking and answering emails, auditing events data, reviewing contract paperwork, maintaining event calendars, managing follow up workflow, creating interdepartmental event prep task lists, other administrative duties as needed.
Guest services duties such as greeting and directing guests, monitoring guest experience, on site host for events, assist with setup and execution of events, other guest services duties as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of administrative/office work required.
Customer service experience required.
Hospitality/Guest Services experience preferred.
Event Services experience preferred.
Proficient with computer and web applications.
Excellent Time Management Skill Set Required.
Experience with Sales and Catering Event Management software a plus.
Weekend and Evening Availability required.
Neat/Professional appearance, ability to pass a background check, and drug screening required.
