Job Requirements :

Current CDL License (Class A or B)

Experience driving an industrial truck on a specified route.

Clean MVR 5 years of driving experience

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 5 years

Waste industry experience a plus but not required

Current DOT medical card

Ability to manage a 2 person team

About Us

Our owners, Michael D. and John A. Paglia, have more than 45 years in the recycling and environmental waste services business. Since 1974, their operations have been in or around Ocala, Florida. Florida Express Waste & Recycling provides residential, commercial and industrial recycling and environmental waste services to Marion, Lake, Sumter, Citrus, Alachua and Levy Counties.

Our unsurpassed commitment to Customer Service includes working closely with our customers to understand their business requirements and providing each customer with a dedicated customer service representative that will help them with their service needs from start to finish.

Our services include the following :

Compactors - available for commercial and industrial locations, ideal for customers with high volumes of refuse, cardboard and / or recyclables.

Construction Dumpster Containers - available in 10, 20, 30 and 40-yard containers to meet your solid waste and construction debris needs.

Portable Toilets - We feature Poly-John Fleet portable restrooms for construction sites and special events. Handicap units are available for your special needs. Units with lights and portable sinks are also available. We offer fresh water and wastewater holding tanks for office trailers and hand wash stations to meet your special needs.

C&D Landfills - Our landfill team members meet all certification requirements and our landfills are in compliance with all regulatory requirements - in fact, our Southside Material Recycling Facility Landfill is recognized by the state as one of the model sites for compliance.

Residential Garbage Pick-Up - Our sanitation team members are experienced professionals and customer service orientated. Our solid waste services include residential pick-up, recycling, disposal and yard waste collection. We specialize in serving gated communities, homeowner associations, or property management companies. We will customize service packages to fit your special requirements.

Commercial Garbage Pick-Up - We also feature front-end loader pick-up for 2 - 10 yd boxes.

Single Stream Recycling - We provide 18, 64 or 96 gallon carts to businesses for 1x a week recycling. Our recycling team provides recycling bins to residential customers for every other week service.
