Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Admin/Teaching Assistant to support the daily operations of Florida Film Academy. This role includes administrative duties, assisting with educational programs, and occasional travel to support off-site workshops and events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about education and the creative arts.
Key Responsibilities include:Administrative & Office Duties:
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, emails, phone calls, and document preparation.
- Updates, processes, and forwards client inquiries to the sales team.
- Collects and reconciles payments, submits bill payments, and maintains accurate financial records.
- Schedule appointments and meetings in an accurate and timely manner.
- Lead all organizational and administrative process efforts.
- Assist with general office tasks.
Teaching & Program Assistance: Full training will be given
- Assist instructors during workshops, camps, and educational programs.
- Support students in hands-on activities .
- Occasionally lead small group lessons or activities as needed.
Travel & Event Support:
- Travel to support workshops, field trips, and partner programs.
- Assist with on-site event coordination and logistics.
- Represent Florida Film Academy at conferences, festivals, and educational expos.
- Ensure smooth event execution.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
- Excellent spelling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of sales principles and experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to organize work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions.
- Schedule flexibility, some weekends and evenings are required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Clean Driver's License essential
