The Extraction Operator: extracts coffee for food service orders and also ingredient orders making sure it’s of the highest quality and great tasting coffee extract.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow extraction procedures.
- Monitor DI Water System.
- Operate extraction vessels.
- Check brix making certain the brix are accurate.
- FIFO
- Transfer and filter product to holding tanks, portable tanks, and or mix tanks.
- Process all paperwork (extraction logs)
- Keep department clean
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with Food Safety guidelines procedures, rules and regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
- Good operation skill, exceptional general maintenance skills.
- Must be able to lift more than 50lbs.
- Must be able to work in wet, noisy and hot environment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good time management.
- Knowledge of extraction system and operating the vessels
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures
