What are the responsibilities and job description for the EPIC - Patient Experience Application Analyst position at Florida Health Care Plans, Inc.?

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for in-depth knowledge of Epic patient experience and associated patient-facing applications; for example, mobile application, web portals or welcome kiosks.  The Patient Experience Application Analyst conducts regular day-to-day communication, reviews the software, demonstrates a deep understanding of patient use of application, and works with multiple teams, including vendor, project team(s), Business Representatives/Subject Matter Experts, and end users. This position will act as both an advocate and a subject matter expert for FHCP’s Epic patient experience applications. They will routinely perform in-depth data collection and analysis of application usage; use the results of this analysis to drive targeted enhancements aimed at increasing usability; participate in efforts to increase overall patient usage of the applications; is responsible for developing and documenting the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with Epic applications; and will design, build, test, install and maintain those solutions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, skills and experience:

  • AA Degree in Business, health care administration, clinical discipline, or related field required; may substitute work experience for degree

  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills required

  • Prior experience in mobile application and/or customer-facing portal configuration and support required

  • Proven track record of optimizing mobile application experience and driving increases in usage of applications

  • Prior experience in UI/UX design and concepts preferred

  • Prior experience in analysis, optimizing, and process improvement of clinical or healthcare-related systems or workflows preferred

  • Prior experience in creation of system documents, including but not limited to workflow documentation and standard operating procedures preferred 

  • Prior experience in system testing and remediation preferred 

  • Successful completion of aptitude test required
