APRN / PA

Florida Health Care Plans, a large multi-specialty group HMO is seeking an APRN / PA for our Lake Mary Facility. Proficiency performing duties listed below required. Clinic Hours: 7 AM – 7:30 PM (half hour lunch) Monday, Tuesday & Thursday (3-12’s). Join our team of dedicated professionals today!

• Graduate of an accredited program, APRN, NP or PA program
• Ability to treat Urgent Care presentations: (Chest Pain, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, etc.)
• Foreign body removal
• Laceration Repair – Suturing Skills
• Abscess I & D
• Diagnose, treat, & splint fractures
• DOT certification, preferred
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience (good typing & computer skills)
• Worker’s Comp experience preferred
• Great Customer Service and Communication skills with patients and their Primary Care Physicians
  
  

Qualifications

• Advanced Practitioner Florida Licensure
• Minimum 3 years’ AP post licensing experience, working independently, in Family Medicine, Urgent Care Clinics, or combination.
