Duties and Responsibilities :
The APP would be expected to complete the following under physician direction and within the credentialing standards of the Hospital :
- Assess and manage ICU patients with complex medical problems.
- Required Procedural skills : arterial catheters, central venous catheters, temporary hemodialysis catheter. All other procedures are optional and not required.
- Required experience in management of complex medical, surgical, neurosurgical and cardiovascular ICU patients.
- Required basic understanding of mechanical ventilation including non-invasive ventilation.
- Participate in daily multidisciplinary round with the ICU team.
