Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations at our franchised select service hotel. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, ensure excellence in guest services, and achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities and Duties
The AGM will manage daily operations, lead service initiatives, and ensure adherence to budgets and profitability targets. Specific responsibilities include:
- Directing all hotel operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Implementing company policies and standards, overseeing sales and marketing efforts.
- Developing the executive team, resolving guest inquiries, and facilitating hotel-wide meetings.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, maintaining high guest and team member satisfaction.
- Monitoring and enhancing team member performance, conducting evaluations, and providing professional development.
- Recruiting and training team members, ensuring effective task performance.
Qualifications and Skills
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Assistant General Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration or Business Administration.
- Strong leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing midscale and/or upper-midscale hotels.
- Familiarity with local and regional markets.
Accountability:
- This role reports directly to corporate leadership and officers.
