Who We're Looking For
As a Clinical Therapist at Sunlight, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health support to individuals facing various challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to assess clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans that promote emotional well-being and personal growth. You will engage in individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and resilience. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be essential to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients. Ultimately, your work will contribute to improving the quality of life for those you serve, fostering a healthier community in Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach.
What You'll Do
Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to address clients' concerns.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support for clients.
Stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing professional development.
What You Need
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, or Licensed Professional Counselor.
Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations.
Certification in a specialized therapeutic approach (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR). (Preferred)
Experience working in a community mental health setting.
