Florida’s largest independent scale dealer is seeking resourceful and solution-oriented Service Technicians for multiple locations! Experience in our industry is a plus but not required, as we offer in-house training.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to quickly learn or already know how to operate scales and related equipment.
• Understand the principles of weights and measures.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to use personal computers, Microsoft programs and the internet.
• Have strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
• Exercise strong time management skills, being able to plan, organize and prioritize tasks.
• On-the-job training is provided for our specialized industry.
• Standard work hours are from 8 am to 5 pm. However, the ability to work outside those hours is a must to meet customer requirements, emergency calls, etc.
• Flexibility in work hours is a possibility.

Licenses and Equipment:

• The employee must hold a valid Florida Driver's License.
• Candidates must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL Class B license within the first year. An ideal candidate will already have a CDL Class B license or better.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $34.00 per hour
