What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student International Graduate Programs Associate position at Florida International University - College of Business?
The COB Chapman Graduate School department is seeking a student to join their team of professionals. The selected candidate will provide leadership and support across the College of Business Chapman Graduate School. The selected candidate will provide support to the International Graduate Programs Department for the Chapman Graduate School and assist with multi-faceted activities and events as scheduled by the College. Other duties include:
- Provide excellent customer service to all prospects and current students via emails, phone calls, and in-person.
- Prepares ID Transfers, Travel Authorizations, Cash Advances, Expense Reports, and Requisitions.
- Provides administrative support for the office to include telephone coverage, copier projects (including overhead preparation and/or PowerPoint presentations), mail handling, supplies control, and necessary communications internally and externally.
- Document telephone calls and answer general email inquiries for the International MBA, Master of International Business, and Global MBA programs.
- Assist with planning and execution of program orientations, recruitment events, open houses, and program seminars.
- Order supplies for the office as needed.
- Providing information to prospective students about requirements, deadline dates, and general information.
- Scan and link documents to the student’s accounts on image now system.
- Update students’ applications in the PantherSoft and CRM systems.
- Prepare brochures and packets for COB open house, recruitment events, and orientations.
- Initially qualify leads based on academic credentials, professional background and subject area of interest
- Utilize a collaborative and proactive approach connecting leads with recruiters
- Utilize various software programs, including MS Office and CRM System and assist with data entry and clerical tasks, as needed
- Create and answer cases for leads/prospects in CRM System
- Assist in the pulling of student data for program records and submission of program rankings
- Additional duties as assigned relevant to the position.
Federal Work Study

Who May Apply
Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package.
Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
Upon graduating, FWS employment must end.
Hours will vary based on class schedule and needs of the department.
